Stephen Chow is one of my favorite film maker of all time. I used to watch and love his movies since my childhood days, but i never knew the creator. For those who don't know him, he is the maker of Great films like Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle, King of comedy and many others. Stephen chow has created a genre of his own in which he somehow manages to combine Emotions, Drama, Action and Comedy, all at the same time. He could tell the most politically incorrect joke in the most correct and innocent way in a scene. He is a gem of a film maker, a legendary creator and a commendable actor. One of the most unique and powerful movie maker of our generation. This still is from his 2008 film "CJ7".

MANAN NI THERAPY. This was our first show for an OTT platform and my first show as a main writer along with Om Bhatt. A year and half ago when we were writing the pilot, we didn't know what to write. We had written dozens of sketches, live show scripts and even long format scripts, but how do you write a talk show where people just talk. Scripted rakhenge to scripted lagega, impromptu rakhenge toh kya pata kya ho? But slowly and gradually and discussing alongwith Manan Desai, we were able to figure out a possible structure to the show. It was followed by a lot of writing and preparation and hard work by everyone involved in every department. We made changes at the last minute and i even wrote one whole episode on the set while the previous one was getting shot. Back to back tight shoot schedules and a small team with great enthusiasm and hardwork pulled this off. Also did small guest roles along with the hardest working mothafucka on this earth Deep Vaidya who did production and acted while his eyes were begging to sleep. This is what The Comedy Factory has put their heart, sweat and hard work in for months. So enjoy the show and share it with Everyone. It is on JIO STUDIO YOUTUBE CHANNEL and JIO CINEMA APP. Other Comedy factory team members who worked hard for this includes Arpita Manek, Aariz Saiyed, Siddharth Jani and everyone there on the set, pre production and post production. Kudos to all.
